On Thursday 6th we park on the road near Church Bridge in Dent (free) or P&D in Dent (£4.50 for the day).
Meet at the P&D car park – (possibly open toilets?) It is 8 miles, depending on the weather, a possible alternative shorter route if too much water! Head up Dragon Croft & then up the Flinter Gill path where there may or may not be waterfalls.
At the top we turn left onto the Green Lane. Depending on the prevailing weather, we can extend up to the Megger Stones for the view. Continuing along the Green lane we turn downhill towards Nun House Outrake & then across fields to Holly Bush & Deepdale Lane.
We follow the lane before turning off through fields & following Gastack Beck & then across a tricky ford (option to avoid & shorten the walk in wet weather or if prolonged rain that week).
We then head up to Mire Garth and continue across reedy / marshy fields back towards Dent, parallel to the lane, crossing Deepdale Beck again at Bigholme Bridge. Following the beck on the main path to Mill Bridge and the confluence with the Dee, we return to Dent at Church Bridge. Contact Sandra 015242 62416 or Bryn 07779001046

After parking at Keasden Church on Saturday 15th, we go down to Turnerford then walk in a westerly direction past The Heigh, West Borranhead, and down to Mewith Lane. We soon turn left to Mewith Head Hall and cross fields before heading down past Stonegrove to the road, turning left then right to cross the Wenning. Turning east we head up to Waterscale, Meregill and Old Butt, before crossing the moor to reach Lower Hardacre. After crossing the railway and Skew Bridge, it is a short but steep climb to a track. Having crossed the track, fields take us to Reeby's Farm and the church. 7 miles.  Contact Kate 51402.

Starting from Langcliffe public car park,(parking donation box) on Tuesday 18th, we walk to Stainforth via the paper mill and the Hoffman lime kilns. Turning right we travel a gradual incline to Cattrigg Force, then passing Winskall Farm its downhill all the way back to Langcliffe. Approx 7 miles. Contact Don 64979
