The BAA committee has been in conversations with Craven College about bringing horticultural education to our allotments site in Bentham. We are delighted to announce that they will be running a course beginning Tuesday 15th March!

The course is free to anyone earning under £17,374 a year or in receipt of means-tested benefits. For others there is a cost, the course outline is as follows –
Taster Session 1 (Learn to Garden) 4 Week course 15th March.22 – 5th.April.22
£20 9:30am – 15:00pm
Taster Session 2 (Learn to Garden) 5 Week course 26th April.22 – 24th May.22
£20 9:30am – 15:00pm
L1 Award in Practical Horticulture 4 Week course 7th June.22 – 28th June.22
£65 9:30am – 16:30pm
The classroom/base will be at Pioneer Projects' Library so students have shelter in case of bad weather, and can use toilet facilities.
